How My Patterns Are Made

Every design starts with slow, intentional gathering. Flowers are pressed for weeks, sometimes months, until they take on a new form—paper-thin, textured, and beautifully preserved.
Once pressed, I photograph each petal and rebuild the botanicals digitally, creating motifs with a soft, organic feel. Colors are refined, repeats are built by hand, and collections emerge naturally from the shapes of the petals themselves.
This ensures every Mon Petit Chou pattern carries real botanical texture and authenticity—something you can’t replicate with digital brushes alone.
