Sustainability at Mon Petit Chou

Rooted in nature. Created with intention. Designed to last.

Every piece of artwork begins with something grown, gathered, or foraged. My goal is to honor the beauty of natural materials while making choices that support sustainable practices, small-batch production, and thoughtful consumption — from the flowers I source to the way each print is packaged.

Locally Grown Flowers, Pressed by Hand

I work closely with local flower farms — including Boone Fox Farm — to source seasonal blooms grown with care. When possible, I gather botanicals from my own garden or responsibly from the surrounding landscape.

Using locally grown flowers helps support:
• Small farmers and regional agriculture
• Reduced transportation emissions
• Natural biodiversity in our community
• A deeper connection to local seasons and color palettes

Teaching Sustainable Creativity

My pressed-flower workshops focus on celebrating nature while practicing sustainability:

• Using locally grown flowers
• Reusing presses and tools year after year
• Creating long-lasting pieces (no single-use crafts)
• Encouraging guests to reuse materials at home
• Reducing workshop waste whenever possible

Every class is designed to inspire creativity while honoring the environment.

A Commitment to Mindful Making

Mon Petit Chou is built on the belief that creativity and sustainability belong together. As my studio grows, I continue to seek ways to reduce waste, support local growers, source responsibly, and create art that brings nature into people’s homes — in a way that honors the world around us.

Thank you for supporting slow, nature-inspired art.
Together, we can create beautiful things — sustainably.
