Sweet Flight

“Sweet Flight” captures the delicate magic of a hummingbird in motion using only pressed botanicals. The bird’s colorful plumage is created from deep pink petals, layered green leaves, and soft ivory blooms. Fern fronds form the wings, creating a textured, feather-like look that gives the piece incredible realism and elegance.

A tall stem of bright yellow trumpet-shaped flowers completes the scene, drawing the hummingbird in with its soft organic color. Together, the composition feels joyful, lively, and full of movement—perfect for nature lovers and botanical art collectors.

All flowers and botanicals were grown or gathered in South Carolina and pressed using traditional preservation methods. The original artwork was professionally photographed to highlight each petal, stem, and natural detail.
