Poppy the Pig

“Poppy the Pig” is one of my most joyful and whimsical creations — a flying pig crafted entirely from real pressed poppies. The body is formed from layered poppy petals in shades of rose, red, coral, and blush, each petal adding delicate veining, movement, and warmth. The wings are made from pale, translucent poppy petals arranged to look feathered and ethereal.

This piece is lighthearted, symbolic, and full of imagination. It makes a beautiful addition to nurseries, kitchens, children’s rooms, creative spaces, or anywhere that could use a little magic and whimsy. It’s also a wonderful gift for pig lovers or fans of botanical art.

All poppies were grown, gathered, and pressed in South Carolina using traditional botanical preservation methods. The original artwork was professionally photographed to capture every detail of the poppy petals.
